FUN WEEK IN 4C

To celebrate our last week of school for 2012, we are having some fun days!

TUESDAY --- HAT DAY
WEDNESDAY --- PAJAMA DAY
THURSDAY --- CRAZY HAIR DAY
FRIDAY --- Bring a mug... HOT CHOCOLATE AND POPCORN DAY

At least this kid alphabetized his list!! :-)  I hope that none of us have the Christmas Greed, but in our own way, remember those less fortunate than we.  I wish you all a very merry holiday season!  I'm looking forward to lots of sleep, and spending time with my husband and 3 kiddos. 

Story Writing and Multiplication Trees

We worked with friends to come up with rhyming words for a story we are writing in class.  We are very excited to become authors, and create our own book with this story!   Today in math, we worked on Multiplication Trees... stayed tuned for the finished product!   In the meantime, here are your kids in ACTION!  

Prefixes

In Grade 4 we need to understand the following prefixes: un, mis, dis, non, re, pre, and bi.  Today we worked with most of those prefixes. We had to match the prefix to the root word and find the correct meaning!  This was harder than it looked! :)
