Field Trip to Maclab Centre

Peter Puffin entertained us with his guitar and sing-a-long songs about the environment.  This presentation was provided by the City of Leduc to kick off Environmental Week.   Be sure to check out the City of Leduc's web page for more exciting events happening this week.  For example, the Waste Reduction Fair is taking place at the LRC on June 5th and 6th from 4-8pm, with free refreshments and giveaways!  We enjoyed the beautiful walk and Slurpees on the way home. :-)

Lenses

We finished off our Light and Shadow unit learning about convex and concave lenses!  It was pretty cool to see how the image on the other side of a convex lens flipped when it got past the focal point.
