Fort Edmonton

A great day and field trip!  The kids learned a lot about the Fur Trade and how hard it was to live in those days.  They couldn't believe the small living quarters and the amount of people living together.   The weather cooperated and kids behaved!  Couldn't ask for more!  Students enjoyed beading and travois building.  Photos thanks to Mrs. Carriere and her phone as I forgot the school camera.

June!

Can you believe that it's June already?!  This has honestly been the fastest school year for me!  Must be this great group of kids!!  Time always flies when you're having fun!  Pictures below consist of our reading groups in action, our assembly this morning and the Peter Puffin Concert.  It's my tradition to buy my class slurpees on this yearly field trip.  They didn't complain! :-)

 The Boys and Girls Club was here to promote their summer activities!  SD was called up to demonstrate the fun!  Contact them for their great programs this summer!

Long Division

Today we attempted long division in the kinesthetic way!  We even succeeded!   It was a fun way to review the steps to long division in this traditional way.  Can you follow the pictures?!
