Social

In Social Studies we are learning about how communities were formed.  Today, we created timelines for the communities of St. Albert and St. Paul.  We have learned how French and British missionaries helped to settle these areas.

Waste and Our World

This new science unit isn't just about garbage!  We are also learning about nature's way of getting rid of its waste.  We have learned how decomposers such as Isopods (woodlouse, pillbug) are used in nature and about mold and how it helps to break down decaying matter.   Thank you to C. who brought in some REAL isopods she found!  The whole class has been volunteering to bring some in.  I think we're good for now!  We are also observing a few foods to see how they grow mold over the next few weeks!

Petit cochon, petit cochon, je veux entrer!!!

The students did such an AMAZING job learning this play!  They also learned a song, "Qui a peur du méchant loup?" which they performed with enthusiasm.   Well done, 4C!!
