Field Trip - Leduc #1

What a great field trip... yes, it rained, which prevented us from being able to go onto a real life derrick, but we still had lots of fun inside.  This was a well run field trip by the knowledgeable staff at Leduc #1 in Devon.  We learned about Leduc's history and all about our natural resources, in particular, oil!   We are very lucky to live in a province so rich in natural resources.   The students were exceptional in their behaviour, but then again, we expect nothing less of our Cougars!   Well done, 4C!

And... the awesomeness continues!

Amazing!!!!  I love every single one of these home projects!  BRAVO, Grade 4!

Shiloh Home Project

With our home project due on Thursday, they are starting to trickle in!  I am so impressed at the effort and realistic look the students have gone too! I'm anxious to see them all! :-)  These will be on display in the front display case.

Sniff... sniff...

What a sad day for all of us here at ECPS!   We received the news this past Friday that our fearless leader is moving upwards and onwards!   While we mourn our loss of him as principal here, we are proud of him for becoming a new superintendent with Black Gold Regional Schools.   Mr. Monty certainly deserves this posting, and we look forward to having him come visit us in the 2012-2013 school year.   CONGRATULATIONS, Mr. Monty!
