getting super duper excited to get back to school and see you all!   In fact, I've even been practicing what I'm going to bring for lunch!  Remember, we don't have microwaves at the school so you'll need to pack a yummy sandwich, along with your healthy snacks.  What's your favourite kind?   Here is something new we've ate a lot of the past few days!


An APPLE sandwich!  My kids love these with peanut butter.  You could add a few chocolate chips and some granola to it as well.  It would also be good with cheese.  Leave a comment below (you can comment anonymously) and tell me what your favourite kind of sandwich is!

A new year is almost ready to begin!

Are you ready?  Ready for Grade 4 and all the exciting things we will be doing?  I have had a fantastic summer with my 3 kids and husband.  My daughter is very anxious to start Grade 1, and my son is equally excited to begin Kindergarten!  My youngest daughter gets to chill at the dayhome all day, while I teach you guys!  School begins on September 1st at 8:33am!  It's a full day of school, so don't forget to pack your lunch and a couple of snacks.  Please, let's keep our snacks healthy.  Fresh fruits and vegetables are a great morning snack.  Also, we do not allow any carbonated beverages in our classrooms.   Please keep your drinks to water and/or juice.
I have found this website very helpful in packing healthy lunches.  Our kids need these important vitamins and nutrients to help them focus throughout the day.   HEALTHY LUNCHES
